Individual Project | 2021. 01-2021.04
Club Hub provides an environment for people who have passion and hard working on study, also love learning knowledge and conduct academy discussion/communication. Also a temporary dwelling space for students live far away from campus
Site Research
The chosen site is on the intersection of King St west and Spadina Road. As one of the busiest areas in Toronto, the site covers various types of enterprises including education, market, business district, book stores, restaurants, cafes etc.
The adjacent buildings are mainly historical complex ranging from five to twelve storeies, along with newly built high-rise. Since the site is surrounded by universities, the student population is dense and the surrounding supporting facilities are relatively minimum.
Demographic Analysis
Affected by the rents, not all students live close in the Downtown Toronto region. If taking subway or other forms of transit, it may take more than one hour to commute.
